Roof Cleaning & Coating Suffolk

Roof Cleaning and Sealing or Coating has been gaining in popularity in the UK over the last couple of years. In the United States, it is quite common but homeowners here are arguably seeing even greater benefits, considering our weather!  

Our contractors are fully insured and take all necessary safety precautions before starting work.

We assess the condition of the roof and if small repairs such as replacing broken or unseated tiles are required, we take care of that as part of the service. Often a treatment with Smartseal™ Moss Clear will prepare the roof by killing the vast majority of growths on the surface.

The cleaning will take place with a Honda petrol-engined pressure washer connected to a 30 metre long dual-core extension hose driving either a Turbo Lance or Mosmatic Roof Cleaning machine, depending on what's best for your particular roof.

Once completely dry, the tiles can be sealed with Smartseal™ Roof Sealer or coated with Smartseal™ Roof Coating. These beautify and protect the surface for the future. These products give the tiles 'self-cleaning' properties, in that, whilst fungal growths will always try to take hold, they will be washed away along with general grime and pollutants when it rains.
